• Congratulations to Denise Somers who won the recent Art Competition organised by the Kilkenny Advertiser. Denise is being presented with her award by the Mayor on Wednesday Jan. 25th in the Mayor's office.
  
  
• The Choir's new CD is now on sale for €10 and would make a great gift. Contact the school. The CD includes favourites such as Carol of the Bells, Silent Night and We wish you a Merry Christmas.
  
• 
• More congratulations are due to the choir as they have been chosen to be recorded with the RTE Symphony Orchestra. This is a wonderful tribute to Ms McCarron and the choir.
  
• The choir also came 2nd in the RTE Lyric FM Christmas competition.
  
• Practice is in full swing for the musical "The Sound of Music" which is due to be performed in March.
  
• Our Cadette B Volleyball team have been doing well recently with victories over Mountrath, Carlow and Tramore.
