First we looked at various scripts in Photoshop
to see if there were any letter A that we liked. |

then drew some designs using Paint to see if we could make a nice
logo. |

We
then looked at the music note because of the name Allegro. |
|

We
eventually united this with the letter A. We
feel it has the characteristics of a good logo. |
It
has the letter A outlined in negative space to represent the name
Allegro. It has the shape of a musical note in positive space because
Allegro means a fast tempo in music. |
It
is simple in nature, yet it is also eye-catching and forces the
audience to think again about its symbolism. |
